A
multicyclone is a device based on the experienced gained from the long-term use of cyclones. The device is a compromise between the size (several times smaller dimensions), the quantity of dedusted gas and the
efficiency, which by and large does not exceed 60%. Since, a
MOS multicyclone as a general rule separates large dust particles, it is perfect as a primary dust collector protecting more sensitive dedusting equipment from erosive impact of coarse grained dust, which extends the life of the entire system.
The basic element differentiating MOS from standard multicyclones is the horizontal layout of the elements allowing smaller dimensions of the device.
