Dispensing valves
An EK-150 dust valve serves for closing the feeding part of the dust collection equipment operating in a negative pressure section of the system. It is designed to facilitate dust feeding without an undesirable ambient air flow via the bottom outlet to the dedusting equipment. EK-150 dispensing valve affects the dedusting efficiency by increasing the chute container tightness. Simple valve design facilitates the dust collector operation reduction to the minimum possible extent.
Technical properties
The most crucial component of the valve is a special rubber element. Due to negative pressure in the dedusting installation, the rubber element provides a hermetic seal from the ambient. Under the impact of the dust accumulated over the valve, the rubber element opens without the loss of tightness of the dust collector – ambient system.
Scope and conditions of applications
The dispensing valves are applied in removal of grain dust from dust collectors, filters etc. EK-150 valve comes in two main types:
- EK-150/A in a canvas enclosure, adapted for cooperation with a standard dust bin,
- EK-150/B in metal enclosure, adapted for cooperation with a dust conveyor.
